SAS/SATA/PCIe (NVMe) Gen4 Tri-Mode support with 16 and 8 internal ports
to address these needs by delivering more performance and RAID data
protection for high-end server storage applications. The MegaRAID
controllers are the first RAID adapters to offer both PCIe Gen4 host and
PCIe Gen4 storage interfaces which enables high bandwidth and more
IOPS. Also the Tri-Mode SerDes technology enables operation of NVMe SAS
or SATA devices in a single drive bay operating in all modes
concurrently seamlessly negotiating between speeds and protocols.
